Eric Littles was born to Theo Littles and Mary Fefee Littles. His parents found out that he was deaf at age 2. Altought, Eric believed that he was born deaf. At age 3, He attended Perry School with other deaf children. Unfortunately, he did not know sign language until he turned 8. Otherwise, they grew up on the far south side of Chicago and lived at the Altgend Gardens until his family moved to first house at 107th and Prairie Avenue in Chicago when he was about 6 half years old in 1971. He has two sisters, Cheryl and Marnita and they had a brother, Theo, Jr who died arupbtly during he was playing the basketball game at High School in 1973.

As a boy, Eric loved drawing the Star Trek comics and characters and other pictures with the titles he was interested in. At home, he used a lot of papers for drawing; however when technology was changed to the PC and MAC computer, he learned about designing the advertisement, brochures, publications, packaging and cards on the computer. He decided to go back to the school, Columbia College Chicago for majoring in Graphic Design after he finished his first BA degree in Business from DePaul University in 2003. In 2007, he earned BFA degree in Graphic Design.

In December 1995, Eric met his partner, John and they dated before they lived together in Chicago, then Skokie. Eric resigned his job at HFC in May 2001 before his partner and he had arrival of their first baby, Nicholas on January 30, 2002. Eric was staying at home Dad with Nicholas, even though, he continued attending Columbia College for finishing BFA degree. In 2005, John and Eric had another baby, Zachary who was born on September 11, 2005.

Eric enjoys biking, hiking, playing games, bowling, pool, swimming, building the model kits, drawinng pictures and reading John Grisham books. In addition, he likes watching the movies. Still Star Trek fan. He loves traveling to U.S cities and Europe for visiting historical places and viewing the landscapes. When he was young man, he was master of ceremonies for Miss Deaf pageants in 1983, 1986 and 1990. He worked as a camp counselor with the deaf children in summer 1986-1989. Currently, he enjoys working as freelance graphic designer and working on the website design.

Eric, his partner John and their two sons moved from Chicago area to Whitefish Bay, WI. Back to Main Page
